Oh my god, you are not going to believe this. But I totally know god exists. No way that he doesn’t.

steweiI was watching Family Guy and this episode was going on. The one in which Stewie kills Lois on the boat – I was watching that. At the end of that episode, Lois reappears in the courtroom while her murder trial is going on … so i was watching that. And I said to myself I have seen this episode so many times, it always ends with Lois declaring ‘it was Stewie’ and the episode sorta ends leaving a hanging question mark of guess-what-happens-next. I so totally wanted to see the next episode, but somehow they never played the next episode. So I was praying all along, oh god please play next episode back-to-back ..please … oh, god please …please … and guess what? He listened to my prayers. They actually totally did play the next episode which I was so dying to see. OMG, Miracles happen, god exists.

Most people’s belief in god is of similar nature. The chance occurrence of highly desirable but highly improbable event (aka miracle) must be one of the main reasons why people believe in god. We call it a chance, they say it’s god.

  1. We call it a chance, they say it’s god.
god never come, with your desire…
but god, exis without you ask for it.

  2. Serendipity is, indeed, a very cool thing when it happens to you but, let’s not grasp for explanations so wildly that we latch onto the first thing that comes along in our imaginations to even remotely relieve the stresses of understanding events without clear explanation. One needn’t leap to “angels” when “coincidence” is a sufficiently wonderful conclusion on its own. Taking allegedly “supernatural” explanations out of the equation doesn’t make nature or the universe … or ourselves … any less incredible. An entirely unconscious goal-free complexity and dynamic can still surprise the hell out of us and can still give us joy and feelings of its magnificence. Whether or not we feel wonder and awe at those surprises is up to us, as is the responsibility to keep our explanations of them authentic rather than imaginary.

  3. @feriadi
I tried thinking deep. But what happens is the deeper I go the farther I penetrate thru earth’s surface only to come out at the other end. Besides, some folks have been tellin’ me that he is up in the sky. But problem eith that is, with earth’s rotation and all, sky keeps changing and I sure don’t no where to look.

    I agree completely.
